If you haven’t already checked to see if your laptop’s battery pack could be listed, please do so. And even if  you’ve checked your battery during our previous recall announcements, it’s important to double check since this expansion includes additional battery packs and one additional notebook model series. Just go to the program Web site – in this case, the May 26^thupdate – and click the “Validate Your Battery” button.

To be extra clear: This isn’t a recall of notebook PCs, just the affected batteries. Even if your notebook is listed as part of the recall, it does not guarantee that your serial number is impacted. Those eligible will receive a replacement pack for each verified, recalled pack at no cost.
